Setiaflex is a Malaysia authorised agent for Hyosung Corporation from Korea for Generator. Hyosung is the leading supplier of generators for industrial use, ships, wind power, and power generation. This generation system of Hyosung can provide a primary and secondary power source to various industrial facilities including factories, buildings, large apartment and ships, via optimum configuration of the system to meet the requirements of individual facility.

Hyosung generators has been designed and manufactured by utilizing programs including analysis of a magnetic field and structure and 3D, which has improved reliability of products. And Hyosung manufactures generators that are required for main sources of electricity in industrial facilities for continuous use or for emergency use. Additionally, they generate stable voltage apart from fluctuation of loads by applying PMG (Permanent Magnetic Generator) system and Thyristor, therefore our generators are solider and easier in operation and maintenance.

A. Industrial Generator

Hyosung’s industrial diesel engine generators are used as the main or secondary power source for industrial complexes or hospitals in addition to being used in regions where no power supply is available.

i. High Speed Diesel Engine Generator Set

Hyosung’s high speed diesel engine generators apply various engines from worldwide companies and are used as the main or emergency power source for industrial facilities, i.e. factories, buildings, apartments, and power plants.

We configure the system to meet the characteristics required for each facility’s unique environment and provide stable power with the best quality to our customers.

ii) Medium Speed Diesel Engine Generator Set

Hyosung’s NEMA standard motor has acquired the international certification from NEMA and its superiority has been verified by their global customers. It features an excellent insulation system, strict process controls, and quality management, which allow for a low vibration and noise structure design; its double cage rotor structure and special varnish finishing, allows the motor to run perfectly under various load conditions including a condition with a wide moment of inertia.

B. Marine Generator

The advantage of Hyosung’s marine generator is its adaptability which allows the generator to be compatible with all kinds of ships. Hyosung’s marine generators, which feature both low noise and vibration, guarantee high reliability and efficiency in any marine environment. Hyosung offers various generators for bulk carriers, oil tankers, large container ships, and special vessels.

There are two types of marine generators: open, air-cooled generator and closed, water-cooled generator. The air-cooled generators feature IP23 and are unaffected by water mist spray should a fire occurs on the ship. This specific model is applicable to small & medium bulk ships and large containerships. The water-cooled generator, which is totally-enclosed, is an optimum solution for special ships such as LNG cargo ships which require high reliability and large carrying capacity

C) Special Generator

Based on motor and generator technology accumulated, Hyosung offers special generators for nuclear power substation and testing equipment of transformers.

i) Motor-Generator Set

Hyosung’s motor-generator set combines the state of the art technology of motors and generators. The set provides stable power supply since a power shutdown is prevented through flywheel inertia. It is primarily used to supply power to fuel control rods or convert power or frequency in a nuclear power plant.
